Paper can transform from a flat white sheet into three-dimensional objects. Through cutting, folding, and assembling, insects were created. This series of calendar sheets was a project from my first semester. Starting with topic exploration, I chose insects because I believe they are fascinating and often underestimated creatures. After sketching, I used these designs as a basis to create my Adobe Illustrator file, which was then used for laser cutting. Afterwards, I folded the pieces so that light and shadow could interact with the paper’s structure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
